There are parts of Detroit that I really enjoy. And there are parts of Detroit that I have visited and promptly promised myself, to never return.
Still, I really enjoy being over there. Getting paid to be there makes it necessary.
I admire the diversity of the area. It seems like a land of extremes, to me. Incredible poverty - incredible wealth. When I first starting going over there it was difficult to understand.
Anyway, we spend some time in South-West Detroit. We drive through MexicanTown every day. Not too far from here is a large Middle Eastern community.
